High stress 5600 psi concrete, 316 marine-grade stainless steel, and PVC or HDPEequivalent piping.
Aqualete Water Treatment Systems are dual angle, inclined plate, directional hydrodynamic particle separators used in the treatment of stormwater runoff. The water is forced through our system in a four-phase vertical process, during which we separate the pollutants from the water and keep them separated. We do not separate what is dissolved in the water, but rather what is attached to the water.
The first phase separates debris and biomass. The second phase separates silt and sand. The third phase separates hydrocarbons and the fourth phase separates the nutrients.
Hydrocarbons (grease and oil), biomass (leaves), garbage, TSS (total suspended solids), and nutrients such as nitrates, nitrites, phosphates, and sulfates.
Absolutely. The SDT460 is on display at our facility. The technology is the same in all models.
Both Systems treat the stormwater using the same technology. However, online Systems do not divert the stormwater from the existing drain pipe. The offline Systems redirect the stormwater off the existing drain pipe using a baffle, run it through our System, and return it back online before it enters the connecting waterway. Our independent engineer will review the purchase to ensure flow rates are correct for the job and sign off on it before we complete the sale.
It depends on the model. For reference, the SDT780 can handle up to 17 storm drains.
All design specifications are on our website. Our design professionals are available for assistance. Additionally, our independent engineer reviews all sales for proper design criteria.
Every model has a different price based on the number of Systems needed and size of the concrete vault. Every System is custom built for each project to ensure compliance with design criteria and contributory drainage area requirements.  We require a 50% deposit and the balance upon delivery. Please contact a Technical Specialist to review project needs and for our most recent price list.
The price includes a concrete vault (or vaults) containing the Aqualete Water Treatment System, H20 vault cover (or covers), and manhole cover(s). We do offer volume discounts. Installation and maintenance manuals are also provided.
No, we are manufacturers and distributors. We can recommend an installer and/or maintenance contractor, if needed.
No. The System can be maintained from the street and entrance into the vault is not required for maintenance. The manhole cover allows for ample space during maintenance. If you wish to enter the System for repairs, confined space training is required.
Our product is warranted to comply with the design criteria of your engineer. Warranty information is available on our website.
