Product Details

How The WTS2000 Works

Aqualete Industries has pioneered the science of accelerated sedimentation using enhanced directional hydrodynamics. The WTS2000 was designed to take advantage of water’s basic physical properties.

The water to be treated is pumped into the unit by any means desired by the user. Trash pump, submersible or diaphragm pump; the pump selection is made by the user and should reflect the best device for the material to be treated. Once the water is inside the WTS2000, the polluted water begins its treatment journey. During that journey, the polluted water will make over 100 right hand turns, every time it makes a turn it slams into our dual-angle inclined plate technology. These plates were developed to accelerate the sedimentation process. During its journey the polluted water will also engage a hydrocarbon barrier that will separate and prevent the hydrocarbons from continuing on its way. The silt, sand, hydrocarbons (oil, grease & gas), heavy metals, nutrient, phosphorous and other pollutants are trapped in the unit and stored until cleaning.

The WTS2000 has two separate and independent sides for treatment and cleaning flexibility. The WTS2000 can use a single side to process water through, or for maximum GPMs, the hose can be split by a manifold to use both sides of the unit. The entire component system is made from .316 marine grade stainless steel. The WTS2000 is easy to operate and no certification is required for its use.
